Our Mission over the next year is to build a directory of useful and updated information about Amelia Island, such as, Places to Eat, Things to Do, Events, etc., and concurrently coordinate beautification activities like street, beach and park cleanups, encouraging Green alternatives, like switching from plastics to paper, planting more trees, working with other nonprofits and community organization to motivate our elected officials to make Amelia Island an official Blue Zones community.

“Blue Zones Project is a community well-being improvement initiative designed to change the way people experience the world around them. By impacting environment, policy, and social networks, Blue Zones Project makes healthy choices easier. As a result, people can live longer, better, and communities can lower healthcare costs, improve productivity, and boost national recognition as a great place to live, work, and play.”
